Housing Services

HPLC clients will often need to be referred to a housing service to get information, advice, referral and support. Housing services operate through a regional Front Door Access Points system.

If a HPLC client is requiring housing assistance and support, such as finding crisis accommodation they need to be referred to the appropriate Front Door Access Point.

To find this ask the client what SUBURB is on their Centrelink Health Care Card then open the attachment below, go to the suburb and it will have the corresponding housing service.

If in doubt, refer HPLC clients to the Melbourne Metro Housing Network 1800 825 955. This helpline operates 24 hours per day seven days a week. Clients can call this number for housing information, support and referral.
